'Mama's Favs' playlist deepens the mystery

Adding to the intrigue is a curious detail spotted by fans which is a playlist on Mrunal's phone titled "Mama's Favs," filled with vintage Tamil hits from the 80s and 90s. Social media users were quick to connect the dots, suggesting that "Mama" may be a pet name for Dhanush — especially since the songs listed are not the typical choices expected from someone raised in Maharashtra's Dhule. While neither actor has commented publicly, the playlist has only stoked curiosity further, with fans combing through their social media posts for hidden clues or interactions.

From film wrap parties to premieres, the appearances add up

This isn't the first time Dhanush and Mrunal have been spotted together. Back in July, the two attended the wrap party of 'Tere Ishq Mein', directed by Aanand L. Rai. Mrunal was also part of the film's team alongside Tamannaah Bhatia and Bhumi Pednekar. The duo was later seen at the screening of 'Maa', followed by Dhanush attending the premiere of 'Son of Sardaar 2', where Mrunal played the lead. While some dismiss the dating chatter as manufactured gossip, others say the connection seems genuine. As of now, both Dhanush and Mrunal remain silent, leaving fans to read between the lines. On the work front, Mrunal Thakur was recently seen in 'Son of Sardaar 2' and Dhanush's recent outing was 'Kuberaa' which also featured Nagarjuna and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles.
